The charger Expert
The GOLISI L4 is a universal intelligent charger compatible with almost all rechargeable batteries on the market, thus eliminating the need to own several chargers. The L4 automatically detects 3.7V Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries and through manual selection is also capable of charging LiFePO4 and 3.8V Li-ion batteries. Intelligent circuitry selects the optimal charging mode (CC, CV and dV/dt) for a given battery and each of the L4’s four microcomputer-controlled charging slots then monitor and charger the battery independently. Furthermore, an integrated digital LCD screen clearly displays all charging parameters and progress while an intelligent automatic power-off function terminates current when charging is complete.

Operating Instructions
A. Plug one end of the power cord or adapter into the L4 charger. Plug the other end of the cord into an applicable outlet. The LCD displays all the data and then shows “null” as the charger runs a quick self-test.
B. Each slot monitors a battery independently. Rechargeable batteries of differing chemistries and voltages can be charged simultaneously using 1, 2, 3 or all 4 of the slots. When inserting a battery, ensure the positive and negative ends correspond with the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on the charger. Incorrect installation will result in failure to initiate the charging process.
Note: The L4 is capable of charging 3.7V/3.8V Li-ion, 1.2V Ni-MH/Ni-Cd and 3.2V LiFePO4 rechargeable batteries.
C. When a battery is inserted to the L4, the L4 will enter into charging mode. If any unusual circumstances have been detected, such as a backward battery installation, the screen will still show “null” and the battery cannot be charged. While charging mode, the charger recognizes Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries. If there is no any operation with 8 seconds, the charger will charge in present battery type and the LCD shows the charging process, battery voltage, battery type and present charging capacity.
D. Within 8 seconds press “SLOT” button to adjust the slot and press “MODE” button to choose battery type.

F. 120s later backlight will be out automatically; press the “SLOT” or “MODE” button, the backlight will turn on.
Note: When the L4 is charging three or four batteries, charging current will be best to 500mA. Alternatively, when charging either one or two batteries in two sides, charging current will be set to 1000mA.
Charging 3.8V Li-ion or LiFePO4 Batteries
To charge 3.8V Li-ion or LiFePO4 batteries, simply press the “MODE” button, after the battery test completes and “3.8V Li-ion” or “LiFePO4” will appear in the LCD display to indicate the activation of 3.8V Li-ion or LiFePO4 charging mode. To exit 3.8V Li-ion or LiFePO4 charging mode, simply remove and reinstall the battery.
Battery Activation
For every installed battery, the L4 will activate the battery by charging it. Activate automatically for Li-ion batteries with protection board, which are instantaneous short circuit. For the unprotected batteries’ voltage is above 0.2V, the activation methods are as follows:
  1. Put the batteries in the L4 about 24 hours. (During the process, it is normal that Li-ion batteries will be detected as Ni-MH batteries.)
  2. Remove and reinstall the batteries and charge again.
Note: The L4 is not recommended for use with over-discharged (zero volt) UNPROTECTED Li-ion batteries.
  1. The L4 is compatible with batteries of varying sizes, therefore when charging certain batteries (such as 26650, AAA and AAAA), manual adjustment of the battery’s position within the slot is recommended, as to ensure solid contact is made between both sides of the battery and the charging slot’s metal contact points.
  2. The L4 is restricted to charging 3.7V Li-ion, 3.8V Li-ion, LiFePO4, Ni-MH/Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries only. Never use the L4 with other types of batteries as this could result in battery explosion, cracking or leaking, causing property damage or personal injury.
  1. The L4 should only be used indoors or inside a motor vehicle and it cannot be use or store in the water, high humidity, direct sunlight and low or high ambient temperatures.
  2. Do not disassemble or modify the charger.
  3. Children under the age of 18 should be supervised by an adult when using the L4.
  4. The L4’s safe operating temperature is between 0℃--40℃.
Warranty Service
All GOLISI products enjoy a comprehensive after-sales warranty service. A malfunctioning GOLISI L4 charger may be exchanged for a replacement by a local authorized distributor/dealer within the first 15 days of receipt by the end user. After 15 days and up to 12 months, the L4 may be sent to an authorized distributor/dealer for repair. Beyond 12 months, the warranty covers labor costs and maintenance with the exclusion of accessories or replacement parts.
The warranty is nullified in any of the following situations.
  1. The product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/or modified under unauthorized conditions.
  2. The product(s) is/are damaged through improper use.
  3. The product(s) is/are damaged by leakage of batteries.
